Overview #

When a customer creates a design using the Design Editor, adds it to the cart, and completes checkout, the order will include full design information.

Shop managers can view, manage, and download design files directly from the order management section.

Enable Add to Cart for Designs #

To allow customers to add a designed product to the cart, you must enable the Add to Cart button in the Design Editor.

Enable from Layout Settings (Global) #

1. Go to Settings → Layout
2. Enable Show Add to Cart

This option applies to all products using the Design Editor.

Enable from Product Advanced Settings (Per Product) #

You can override global settings for a specific product:

1. Go to Products → Edit Product
2. Open Advanced
3. Select Customize Design Layout
4. Enable Show Add to Cart

This setting applies only to the selected product.

Create an Order with Design #

Open Design Editor #

• Select a product
• Click Customize to open the Design Editor

Create the Design #

• Add your design elements (1)
• Select product color (2)
• Select quantity (3)
• Click Continue (4)

Add Design to Cart #

• Review all design and product information
• Add a note for the shop manager if needed
• Click Add to Cart

Cart Review #

• Review cart information and design details
• Click Proceed to Checkout

Note:
Product Designer App supports show customize in ‘Customized’ options.

Checkout #

• Review order details
• Select shipping method
• Select payment method
• Click Place Order

Order Completed #

Once the order is placed, it is marked as completed and stored in the system with full design data.

Manage Orders (Backend) #

View Order List #

To view orders with designs: Go to Orders in the admin panel

The order list allows shop managers to:

• View design thumbnails
• Check customer and order status
• Access detailed design information

Order List Features #

1. Search by Order ID (1)
2. Filter by Order Status (2)
3. Order ID:
   • Click to open the Prestashop order
   • New orders display a “New” flag until viewed
4. Design Thumbnail
5. Order Status
   • Synced with Prestashop order status
6. Order Date
7. View Detail
   • Open detailed design information

Orders cannot be edited or removed here.
Orders are deleted only when removed from Prestashop Orders.

Order Detail #

View Order Details

Click View Detail from the order list to see full design information, including:

• Product name (linked to Prestashop product)
• Design thumbnails for all product views
• Product options (color, size, attributes)
• Quantity and pricing
• Customer notes

Download Design Files #

• Click Download Design
• Supported formats:
  • PNG
  • PDF
  • SVG

These files are generated using the original design resources and are ready for printing.
