This addon allows customers and admins to download designs with mask areas and/or background layers from the Product Designer App. It supports downloading masked design areas, full-side designs, or designs combined with background and product images.

Requirements #

• You must purchase and install the paid version of Product Designer App (PDA).
• Your purchase code must be verified before installing addons.

Installation #

Add Addon to Cart #

1. Go to PrestaShop Back Office
2. Navigate to PDA → Addons
3. Open Store Addons
4. Verify your purchased code if it has not been verified yet
5. Click Add to Cart to add the addon to your cart

Checkout and Payment #

1. Click the Checkout button
2. Make sure you have enough balance in your PDA Wallet
3. Start the payment process
4. Complete the payment

After payment is successful, the addon will be available for download.

Import Addon #

1. Go back to the Addon List
2. Reload the page if needed
3. Click Import to download the addon package

• After importing, click the Install button

Settings #

To configure the Download With Mask addon:

1. Go to PDA → Addons
2. Click the Settings button of the Download With Mask addon

Configuration #

You can configure the following options:

• Enable Apply to all products to use the same settings globally (1)
• Enable Download with mask area (requires mask setup for design area) (2)
• Enable Download full design on a side (3)
  • Includes background, mask, and product image
• Choose the download mode (4):
  • Background only
  • Background with mask
• Click Save to apply the settings (5)

Enable Download With Mask for Specific Products

If you want to configure settings per product:

1. Disable Apply to all products
2. Edit the product you want to configure
3. Go to Product → Advanced → Addons
4. Enable:
   • Download with mask area design
   • Download full design with mask

Mask Area Setup

To use mask-based downloads, you must configure a mask for the product design area.

Steps:

1. Edit the product design template
2. Add an area layer
3. Add a mask image layer
   • The transparent area defines the design region

This mask will be used when exporting the design.

Download Behavior

• Customers can design and download directly in the Design Studio (if enabled)
• Or add the product to cart and place an order
• Admin can download masked designs from the order detail page

Result

Design files can be downloaded:

• With mask only
• With background and mask
• With full side layout including product image

depending on your configuration.

Uninstall / Delete Addon #

If you no longer want to use this addon:

• Uninstall the addon to disable it
• After uninstalling, the Delete button will appear
• Click Delete to permanently remove all addon files

Notes #

Make sure the addon is uninstalled before deleting it.

Mask images must be properly prepared with transparent areas.

Deleting the addon will permanently remove all related files.
