Overview #
Design Templates are base resources available in the design editor that help customers start designing faster and more easily.
Customers can:
- Add a design template and edit it
- Use templates as a starting point for their own designs
Store owners can:
- Create design templates for customers
- Use templates to build product design templates for sale
Design Templates are optional. If you do not want to use templates, you can skip this section.
Access Template Manager #
Go to: Admin Panel → PDA → Templates
From this page, you can:
- Open Templates menu (1)
- Create folder to organize templates (2)
- Import templates from the store (3)
- Create template manually (4)

Create Template Folder #
Folders help you organize templates and improve usability in the design editor. Steps:
- Click Create folder
- Enter Folder name (1)
- Select Language (for multilingual websites) and enter the folder name again (2)
- Choose Folder thumbnail (3)
- Click Save to create the folder (4)

Create a Design Template #
Design the Template #
- First, You need Click Create template Button to open editor screen
- Set the template size → The size should match the print area of the target product (1)
- Use elements from the editor menu to add content (2): Text, Artwork, Photos, Shapes
- Design the template directly on the canvas (3)
- Use Import if you already have a design file (4)
Save or Export #
- Export the template to a file for backup (5)
- Click Save to store the template (6)

Manage Template Options #
Steps:
- Select the design layer you want to configure (1)
- Open Settings (2)
- Enable or disable tools for that layer (3)
For artwork or image layers, you can: Enable Replace image to allow customers to swap images

Save Template Information #
After clicking Save:
- Enter Template name (1)
- Select Language for translation (2)
- Set Design fee (optional) (3)
- Click Save to finalize the template (4)

Manage Design Templates #
After creating templates, you can:
- Edit individual templates (1)
- Use Bulk mode to update multiple templates
- Move templates to another folder (2)
- Remove templates from the system (3)

Where Are Templates Used? #
- Templates appear in the Templates panel of the design editor
- Customers can:
- Select a template
- Edit the design
- Use it as a starting point

Templates can also be used to:
- Create product design templates
- Offer pre-designed products for sale
