Overview #

Design Templates are base resources available in the design editor that help customers start designing faster and more easily.

Customers can:

• Add a design template and edit it
• Use templates as a starting point for their own designs

Store owners can:

• Create design templates for customers
• Use templates to build product design templates for sale

Design Templates are optional. If you do not want to use templates, you can skip this section.

Access Template Manager #

Go to: Admin Panel → PDA → Templates

From this page, you can:

1. Open Templates menu (1)
2. Create folder to organize templates (2)
3. Import templates from the store (3)
4. Create template manually (4)

Create Template Folder #

Folders help you organize templates and improve usability in the design editor. Steps:

1. Click Create folder
2. Enter Folder name (1)
3. Select Language (for multilingual websites) and enter the folder name again (2)
4. Choose Folder thumbnail (3)
5. Click Save to create the folder (4)

Create a Design Template #

Design the Template #

1. First, You need Click Create template Button to open editor screen
2. Set the template size → The size should match the print area of the target product (1)
3. Use elements from the editor menu to add content (2): Text, Artwork, Photos, Shapes
4. Design the template directly on the canvas (3)
5. Use Import if you already have a design file (4)

Save or Export #

1. Export the template to a file for backup (5)
2. Click Save to store the template (6)

Manage Template Options #

Steps:

1. Select the design layer you want to configure (1)
2. Open Settings (2)
3. Enable or disable tools for that layer (3)

For artwork or image layers, you can: Enable Replace image to allow customers to swap images

Save Template Information #

After clicking Save:

1. Enter Template name (1)
2. Select Language for translation (2)
3. Set Design fee (optional) (3)
4. Click Save to finalize the template (4)

Manage Design Templates #

After creating templates, you can:

1. Edit individual templates (1)
2. Use Bulk mode to update multiple templates
3. Move templates to another folder (2)
4. Remove templates from the system (3)

Where Are Templates Used? #

• Templates appear in the Templates panel of the design editor
• Customers can:
  • Select a template
  • Edit the design
  • Use it as a starting point

Templates can also be used to:

• Create product design templates
• Offer pre-designed products for sale
