This guide explains how to disable, uninstall, or completely delete the Product Designer App module from your PrestaShop store.

Before You Begin #

Please read the following before making any changes:

• Disabling the module will stop the design tool but keep all files and data
• Uninstalling or deleting the module may remove configuration data and files
• Always back up your store and database before uninstalling or deleting the module

Disable Product Designer App (Recommended) #

Disabling the module allows you to temporarily turn off Product Designer App without deleting any data.

Steps

1. Log in to your PrestaShop Back Office
2. Go to Modules → Module Manager
3. Find Product Designer App
4. Click Disable

Result:

• The module is disabled
• All settings, designs, and files remain intact
• You can re-enable the module at any time

Uninstall Product Designer App #

Uninstalling removes the module configuration but may keep files depending on your setup.

Steps

1. Go to Modules → Module Manager
2. Find Product Designer App
3. Click Uninstall
4. Confirm the action

Result:

• The module is uninstalled
• Product Designer App will no longer run
• Some data or files may still remain on the server

Delete Product Designer App Completely #

To fully remove the module and all its files:

Option 1: Delete via PrestaShop Back Office #

1. Before delete module. You need set option remove data from PDA -> Settings -> Advanced -> Enabled Remove data Options (1)
2. Uninstall the module first
3. In Module Manager, click Delete (if available) (3)
4. Confirm the deletion

Option 2: Delete via FTP (Manual Removal) #

1. Connect to your server using FTP
2. Navigate to: /modules/
3. Delete the productdesignerapp folder
4. (Optional) Remove related upload folders if they exist

Remove Data Manually (Optional – Advanced) #

If you want to remove all data completely:

• Delete Product Designer App related tables from the database
• Remove configuration entries from the PrestaShop database

⚠️ This step is recommended for advanced users only. Always back up your database first.

Result #

After disabling, uninstalling, or deleting:

• Disable: Module is turned off, data is preserved
• Uninstall: Module is removed from PrestaShop, settings may be cleared
• Delete: Module and all related files are permanently removed

Notes #

• Disable is recommended if you plan to use the module again later
• Deleting the module is irreversible
• Order-related design files may remain for historical orders
• Always perform a full backup before uninstalling or deleting
