From Free Version to Paid Version (Basic / Pro). This guide explains how to upgrade Product Designer App (PDA) from the free version to a paid plan (Basic or Pro) safely and correctly.

You can upgrade without losing existing data if you follow the steps below.

Buy Paid Version #

To upgrade, you first need buy the paid version.

1. Go to Store
2. Select the plan you want to upgrade to (Basic or Pro)
3. Click:
   • Sign Up→ Add your email address and push your code in your email to login
   • Buy Basic or Pro version
   • Payment with paypal

Download Paid Version Source Code #

To start upgrade, you need to download the source code of the paid version.

1. Go to your Account
2. Select the package you want to upgrade to (Basic or Pro you were purchased)
3. Click:
   • Download Installation → if you want to install a clean new version ( Read more )
   • Download Upgrade → if you are upgrading from the free version (Refer step by step to update under)

Save the file product-designer-app.zip to your computer.

Upgrade from WordPress Admin (Recommended) #

This is the easiest and recommended way to upgrade. Wait for the update process to complete.

1. Login to WordPress Admin Dashboard
2. Go to PDA menu → Upgrades
3. Click Upload and select file source downloaded update-product-designer-app.zip (Note: You need use file upgrade)
4. Wait for the update process to complete

Upgrade via FTP (Alternative Method) #

If you cannot upgrade from the WordPress backend, you can upgrade manually using FTP.

1 Connect to FTP

• Use FileZilla or any FTP client
• Connect using your FTP credentials

2 Locate Plugin Folder – Navigate to the following directory: wp-content/plugins/product-designer-app

3 Upload New Version Files

1. Download the paid version ZIP file
2. Unzip it on your computer
3. Open the unzipped folder
4. Upload all files to: wp-content/plugins/product-designer-app
5. Overwrite all existing files when prompted

Once upload is complete, the plugin is upgraded successfully.

Verify Plugin Version (Optional) #

After upgrading, You can Verify your Purchase Code to unlock premium services

Alternative: Install as a New Plugin Package #

You can also install the paid version as a new plugin by following the same steps as a fresh installation ( Read more )
