Print Files #

The Print Files feature allows store owners and production teams to download the final artwork created by customers and use it for manufacturing customized products.

After an order is placed, Product Designer App stores the customer’s design and generates production-ready files that can be used for various printing methods, including DTG, DTF, Screen Printing, Sublimation, Heat Transfer, UV Printing, Embroidery preparation, and other custom production workflows.

This guide explains how Print Files work, where to find them, and how to use them for production.

What Are Print Files? #

Print Files are the final production files generated from a customer’s design.

Unlike the design preview shown to customers, Print Files are created using the original design data and configured Design Areas to ensure accurate output for printing and manufacturing.

Print Files may contain:

  • Text
  • Photos
  • Artwork
  • QR Codes
  • Barcodes
  • Team Names & Numbers
  • Variable Data
  • Product Personalization

These files represent the exact artwork required for production.

Print File Workflow #

A typical production workflow follows these steps:

The generated files can then be sent to printers, production staff, or third-party fulfillment providers.

PDF Files #

SVG Files #

Multi-View Print Files #

Products can contain multiple printable views.

  • Left Sleeve
  • Right Sleeve

Each view generates its own print file.

Team Products #

For products using Teams & Numbers, generated print files automatically include:

  • Player Names
  • Jersey Numbers

Print Files are generated using the configured Design Area dimensions.
